"The Bone Run"– Sample Book Cover Illustration: Personal project-sample book cover design 2026. "The Bone Run" explores Appalachian horror through a stark, atmospheric landscape where a winding trail is marked by whispers of the dead. Where hunger goes to die.... Stalking the Appalachian winter, something moves between the trees. Tim and his friends decide one one last trip before college starts. The only problem, no one knows how to read the old map Mark's uncle insisted they use. "Stay on the trail." The old man forewarned. Except, the trail keeps changing and the deeper they go, the more they hear the whistling. And it has no intention in letting them leave. Designed as a cover concept, the piece emphasizes mood, clarity, and immediate visual impact for publishing use.
